Welcome to My Korean Language Project!

This website is dedicated to helping you learn the Korean language.

Korean is the official language of South Korea:

(1) Written using Hangul, which is the Korean alphabet. Hangul was created by King Sejong the Great in 1443.

(2) Is considered a language isolate, which means it is not related to any other language.

(3) Korean is spoken by about 52 million people in South Korea.

(4) Known for its honorifics system, which is used to show respect to others.

(5) Korean is known for its word order, which is subject-object-verb (SOV).

Why should you learn Korean?

There are many reasons to learn Korean, including:

(1) You prove you can learn a foreign language.

(2) You respect Korea and its people.

(3) You want to travel/study/work in Korea.

(4) You know about the "Korean Wave".

What will you learn in this project?

This project will teach you the Korean language, including:

(1) Korean alphabet

(2) Korean grammar

(3) Korean vocabulary

(4) Korean phrases

(5) Korean culture

You will learn the Korean language in 3 parts: Essential, Intermediate, and Advanced.
